Miguel Jordán-Arenas
Elite Taekwondo Athlete and T-BOW®
Miguel Jordán-Arenas, born on March 8, 1960, is an elite taekwondo athlete and coach known for his humility and respect. He has competed internationally at the highest levels and, since retiring in 1992, has dedicated himself to training others in taekwondo. An advocate for young people and adults, he is also experienced in Hapkido and other self-defense arts. As the president of the Catalan Martial Arts Federation (FAMC), he promotes the sport's growth and maintains excellent fitness in his 60s, earning recognition both as a person and an athlete.
MIGUEL AND THE T-BOW®
At 60 years old, he demonstrated his excellent flexibility with the T-BOW®, as well as his high level of balance while executing a Taekwondo kick supported on its convex surface, both with the T-BOW® in its stable position and in its unstable position (double T-BOW).
Interestingly, you can see in the photos of the stable T-BOW® that Miquel is ambidextrous, executing it with equal skill with both legs.

T-BOW® PARA DEPORTISTAS

With the T-BOW® it is practical to train anywhere: gym, outdoors or in the hotel room.
The differential actions that the T-BOW® can provide both to the amateur and elite athlete are:
- Very reactively activate the deep stabilizing muscles of the spine, shoulder girdle, feet-ankles-knee-hip with swings on T-BOW® and double T-BOW®.
- Selectively mobilize the trunk with stable and precise fixation of the lumbar spine adapted to its natural lordosis, thanks to the T-BOW® physiological arch, unique in the international market, and with a greater motor range than a flat surface, both in stable and unstable positions, providing high kinesiological sensitivity in support.
- Tone the trunk with greater motor range, with great reactivity and stability on the natural lumbar lordosis of the spine, for fine adjustments, with different priorities for the abdominals, lateral trunk and upper-lower back, with possible differential overload thanks to the practical use of the T-Bands.
- Compensate for unilateral training after a hard workout, using the T-BOW® in a stable and unstable position, together with the use of the T-Band or free weights such as dumbbells.
- Rest your back on the convexity of the T-BOW® to find optimal relaxation and restorative postures, in very stable and sensitive support.
- Create dynamic relaxation situations _ through T-BOW® swinging combined with actions with balls, pikes, ropes or T-bands _ as another means of recovery after intense effort.
- Conditional optimization with relatively high loads with dumbbells, kettlebells, bars and discs, in very reactive balance and rebalancing situations with very fine postural adjustments, achieving a design of very demanding and differential exercises for adjunctive training and strength-resistance training general and directed applied to sports.
- Coordination enrichment of sports techniques, taking advantage of the convexity of the T-BOW® in a stable position, as well as the concavity and the narrow side edges in an unstable position, very reactive.
- Special physiotherapy treatments (see the physiotherapy section with T-BOW®).
- Yoga applications for athletes (see the Yoga T-BOW® section and www.t-bowyoga.com).
- The T-Box® optimizes the performance of the T-BOW® by allowing it to be positioned on elevated and inclined surfaces in a safe, precise and practical manner.
