The Postural T-BOW® philosophy provides unique resources to facilitate and enrich the acquisition of postures and postural sequences from a holistic perspective of personalized optimization.

The postural repertoire stems from Sandra Bonacina's experience with T-BOW® in physiotherapy and movement training (University of Zurich, since 1995) and is enriched with contributions from yoga, artistic gymnastics, dance, weightlifting and martial arts. All resources are based on the concepts and practical proposals for movement education and training learned from the master Francisco Seirul·lo Vargas (University of Barcelona, since 1986). Each person optimizes their postures through a personalized interaction of cognitive, coordinative, conditional, socio-affective, emotional-volitional, expressive-creative, bioenergetic, and mental factors.

The unique characteristics of T-BOW®: (a) facilitate the acquisition of postures in people with significant limitations in balance, strength, or flexibility; and (b) enrich the postural challenges for all types of practitioners, from beginners to elite athletes.

The essence of Postural T-BOW® consists of static postures, very slow dynamic postures, and postural sequences with a predominance of static postures. Dynamic postures at different speeds—that is, general and specific dynamic coordination—complete the static-dynamic optimization of the entire human movement development.

  • Fundamentals of personalized postural optimization.
  • Unique characteristics of the T-BOW® for optimizing posture.
  • T-BOW® Postural Postures (in stable and unstable single-double positions): Vertebral and Respiratory Preparations, Balance and Strength Postures, Extensions_Flexions_Rotations, Squats, Quadrupedal_Multiple-supports, Standing Postures, Spatial Walks, Inverted Postures, Postural Sequences, In-Pair-Group Postures and T-Band Postures.
  • Optimization of strength_balanced_muscular_development, flexibility and elasticity, global-segmental balance and coordination, breathing, and relaxation; applied to static postures, very slow dynamic postures, and postural sequences with a predominance of static postures.
  • Interactions of cognitive, coordinative, conditional, socio-affective, emotional-volitional, expressive-creative, bioenergetic, and mental factors, applied to personalized postural optimization.
  • Design of T-BOW® Postural Sessions.

Goal:

Learn postural optimization techniques with the T-BOW® to facilitate, enrich, and expand static postures, very slow dynamic postures, and postural sequences with a predominance of static postures, as fundamental pillars of static-dynamic optimization of all human movement.

Areas of application of the Postural T-BOW®:

a) Hygienic-re-educative perspective: postural health for daily life, work activity, and the re-education of postural alterations.
